Today is Labor Day - a day of celebration of people's hard work. May God bless those that work hard for their families and continue to bless them with abundance. Today - I found out Chevyl couldn't meet me to go to Old Town Alexandria. I was going to mope around here, but decided to take my bible and go for a walk. I read from Psalm 98 - "Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things" - so I have courage to go out on my own today and finished my walk, swam and I am doing laundry. When I am finished I am taking the train down to Old Town and having a late lunch or early dinner and then return. I have to be able to function in this world (here in our Nation's capital. May God bless everyone who hears God's words today and praise Don for giving us the world in 1 Peter 1.
God's leading me here to work and to live. I am 53 years old at least for a few more days!!! I will work and live here in the Nation's Capital and pray for God's guidance. This Blog will be about my life and challenges here.
